Fiona Hall: Force Field

» Fiona Hall: Force Field

Fiona Hall: Force Field is published to coincide with the exhibition of the same name at City Gallery Wellington, Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney, Australia and Christchurch Art Gallery, Te Puna O Waiwhetu. Adelaide-based artist Fiona Hall has, over the last past four decades explored the nexus of nature and culture. Like a ‘force field’ of conflicting energies, her art is shaped by the histories of colonization, science and systems of knowledge, and the ethics of consumption. Two major essays by Gregory O’Brien and Vivienne Webb are included in this publication, alongside a conversation between the artist and Paula Savage, Director City Gallery Wellington. Published by City Gallery Wellington and Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney. We recommend acquiring this publication quickly as it is anticipated to sell out. Designed by Sarah Maxey Design, Soft cover 96 pages, over 45 colour illustrations, RRP $45
