The first publication produced in New Zealand on Patricia Piccinini’s work was published to accompany the exhibition, including significant new writing about Piccinini’s work and the current context of genetic research and engineering by artist/writer/lecturer Stella Brennan and Professor Ingrid Winship, a Melbourne-based clinical geneticist. Designed by leading Wellington design agency Base Two, the book was produced in an edition of 2,000. Sales both here in New Zealand and in Australia have been strong. All previous publications on this artist are now out of print.
