A screening of the 1977 film Two Rivers Meet which showcases Māori poets in the context of political issues of the period. Narrated by Rowley Habib, the film features Keri Hulme, Hone Tuwhare and Apirana Taylor among others. Accompanying the screening, Apirana Taylor will present a poetry reading of his work, and comment on the film. A City Gallery Wellington and New Zealand Film Archive presentation. FREE.
